Description:

This mod adds PAY CHESTS to the game.

Pay Chests take a random number of coins (2-7), when paid enough coins they open up and give you rewards just like a gold chest, the cost of the chests can be reduced by your luck.

Pay Chests have a chance to replace brown, gold and red chests when they spawn (unless you are holding ‘The Left Hand’ or are in ‘The Chest’ or ‘Dark Room’), but there are some trinkets included in the mod which will boost the spawn rate.

There are 4 trinkets, each one causes Pay Chests to completely replace chests of another type as they spawn, they were originally just for testing but I thought I’d leave them in so you can use them, there’s "Pay to Play Chests" for gold chests, "Red Money" for red chests, "The Rich Hand" for brown chests and "Chest Bribery" for spiked chests.

If you don’t want the trinkets just delete or rename the ‘items.xml’ file (in Documentsmy gamesBinding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Modspaychestcontent)

You can chance the spawn rate of pay chests to suit your tastes by using Pibers20’s Mod Config Menu.

Or you can use console commands, simply enter "setreplacechancegold X", "setreplacechancebrown X" or "setreplacechancered X", where X is a number from 0 to 100, to set the percentage of gold, brown and red chests replaced by pay chests.

(default values are 18% for gold, 14% for brown and 10% for red)

Tha mod also comes with the challenge "Who needs keys?", in this challenge you start off with ‘Pay to Play’ (turning key doors into pay doors) and all gold chests (outside of ‘The Chest’) become Pay Chests, but you can never get any key pickups.

Feedback and bug reports are appreciated.
