The Hive is a very large Carrier with space for 1 Drop Ship Module, 3 Helios Modules and 4 Astra Modules. It comes in at a very low Core 7 without taking any of the more exotic building materials, but will be a very, very slow beast at that stage. It is recommended to upgrade asap.
Included is a giant internal hangar with multiple decks, Ramps to move HVs between decks, a small hydroponics section, and space for all the plasma turbine and shield upgrades as well as a foreseen position for the CV Repair platform.
Stock the Hive has no weapons, there is space foreseen for 8 turrets to provide drone coverage. Until you added those turrets, best stay on sun sectors.
The ship in stock layout also doesn’t have any production capabilities, so you will need to add that via modules (or upgrade the cpu ofc.)
