ARMA 3 | Remaster

Hello, today I want to show you the final version of the first ARMA 3 mod I ever uploaded — which was a test version — now 100% complete.
This mod is very simple: it’s a remaster of all game effects, lighting, and atmosphere, plus it adds many things the vanilla engine can’t normally support, but I managed to implement.
The result is a next-gen looking game, including a custom script that improves performance by 5–10 FPS without sacrificing gameplay or visual quality.
None of the screenshots or videos are edited or use Reshade — everything is native and this is exactly how it will look in your game.

- 💚 NEW FEATURES:
*A new lighting system based on Lumen (don’t ask how I did it, my head still hurts).
*DLAA: the vanilla anti-aliasing is awful, so I recreated something similar through scripting.
*Ambient lighting now adapts to the environment.
*New lens and lighting effects when looking at light sources.
*Improved reflections on water, glass, and metal surfaces.
*Natural ambience like wind, leaves, dust and trash moving around.
*Procedural nature: forests and natural zones generate more dynamic objects during play.
*Trees react to wind: they drop leaves or can fall from strong gusts or explosions.
*Completely new Bloom effect to make weapon metals shine more.
*Performance script: unloads unseen objects and reloads them when looking back — fully optimized to prevent visibility issues.
*Sun glare effects when looking toward it.
*New shadow lighting: softer and darker shadows.
*New explosion, fire and smoke effects.
*Cinema-style black letterbox bars.
*All-new Depth of Field based on Magic DOF.
*Volumetric fog, smoke, and snow.
*Dynamic weather system that generates rich atmospheric effects.
Works great on most maps, especially Teppa maps like Ruha, where the dynamic fog looks stunning.
Some maps like Rosche (Germany) use cartoony lighting, which creates intense saturation — I’ve tried to compensate for that.
The performance system works mainly on objects, not AI. I have a separate AI performance script I’ll release soon.
All effects are vanilla-compatible and work with other mods, though I recommend giving priority to mine for full performance integration.

I highly recommend using it with 4K texture mods — that’s what I used in my videos.
This project took nearly 8 months. The first version wasn’t well received by the Finnish and Peruvian community, and I almost gave up.
But thanks to the support from the Mexican and Chinese communities, I decided to finish it.
I also suggest combining it with my other upcoming effect scripts like eye adaptation, living cities, animals, dynamic seas, etc.
