Have you ever had to place two factories miles apart, and then suffered watching your half-brained, good for nothing crew spend twenty years carrying the materials by hand?

Did you ever ask yourself why the hell do we have moving walkways but resource conveyors are too complicated for the galaxies brightest minds to invent?

This mod finally makes it so that your crew can focus on actually important things (such as manning the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns), and you can stop scratching your head wondering how did we get to space without knowing how to put a coil on a moving piece of rubber.

FAQ:

Q: Why did you add fifteen conveyors instead of a single universal one? Are you stupid?
A: A universal conveyor would take raw resources from factories before they could be processed, making it effectively useless. I do have a vague idea how to make a functional one, though for now I’m too lazy to actually make it. If enough people request it I might give it a shot.

Q: I cannot connect them to storage bays, can you fix it?
A: No. This is due to the conveyors and bays having entirely different storage systems. In the future I might add conveyor-compatible storage bays, but for now your crew has to deliver resources to the first conveyor piece manually, though if you design your ship around this, in a lot of cases it’s still 200 times faster than having them walk all the way from storage bay to factory. Talk about false advertising.

Q: Can you make them more expensive for muh balance?
A: No. If you really want to, feel free to make a patch mod yourself.

Q: Does this work with modded factories?
A: 90% of the time it should, but I haven’t really tried it personally. If it doesn’t, let me know and I’ll see if a compatibility patch is possible.

Q: Why do they all have the same texture taken from another mod?
A: Making all the textures will likely take me a good while, so I decided to release the mod as soon as it’s functional, and worry about aesthetics later.


This is my first ever Cosmoteer mod, so it’s probably quite janky under the hood, but overall I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

Rewrite Soon™! See the comment I made for more info. It should be backwards compatible, so no worries about your precious factories breaking.
