Barbent-class Submarines
Functionally, this is the exact same as a Barbel. The last Diesel-Electric Submarines in the United States Navy. Modelwise, its a bit off but this is the closest thing I can find. Also ‘Barbent’ sounded funnier. It also features the somewhat fantastical Mark 16 Mod 9 ASuW Torpedo, a WWII-vintage torpedo with a Wake-Homing sensor strapped on the front of it. Outside of that, its functionally just like the real Mod 8 version. And you get some Mark 37 ASW torpedoes on top of that. Pray you don’t run across a November.
