GPGE – Generic Prestige Goods Expanded
Bring the spirit of Victorian industrial competition to new heights! GPGE adds 33 new generic prestige goods to Victoria 3, enriching your economic strategies and deepening your nation’s industrial game. Please note: gold, transportation, services, and electricity are not included, as these are not tradeable goods in-game.
All goods are carefully selected for historical accuracy and lore-friendliness, making them both authentic and immersive for the era. Producing these prestige goods won’t be easy – each one requires the right industrial base and effort to unlock.
This mod introduces a full suite of new generic companies dedicated to manufacturing these prestige goods. No vanilla files are overwritten – GPGE only adds new content. That means it’s compatible with any mod that doesn’t add the same generic prestige goods already included here.
Important! The number of companies available to each country remains unchanged. There are many new companies to choose from, so select carefully – some may become less relevant over time as your nation develops.
This is the first in a series of mods: GPGE focuses on generic prestige goods accessible to almost nations. The upcoming sequel, currently WIP, will introduce over 190 unique “flavor” prestige goods and specialized companies, each tied to specific countries and historical circumstances.
