Description:

One of my biggest problems with this game has always been those 10 minutes of utter stress after a raid where you try to juggle all available doctors in such a manner that none of your colonists bleed out completely. This mod seeks to fix this issue by making bloodloss no longer be lethal for everyone. Dying as a consequence of bleeding (infections/ 0% conciousness/ etc.) is unchanged. As a means of balancing some of the lost difficulty, a new negative thought is also introduced for leaving downed colonists laying on the ground too long. This should incentivize using hospitals to both avoid this thought and get the best possible tend quality, where without this mod most colonists would bleed out while they’re still being carried to said hospital.

This mod is not meant to be 100% balanced and takes away some of the challange. If this bothers you, you can always compensate by increasing the difficulty using other mods or the game settings, or you can simply skip this mod.

Features:

Prevents everything from dying to bloodloss. Does not change any other negatives or UI stuff related to bloodloss. These include infections and reduced consciousness, which may still lead to death as usual.

Additionally, colonists will suffer a -6 mood penalty for 4 days after being left downed for more than 6 hours without being put into bed in a room with a roof.
