[WOTC] LW2 Classes Perk Pack [FINAL]

2022: Update thanks to RustyDios I have added a toggle in the soldierskills config file for each and every altered vanilla perk so you can choose what you want and what you don’t want, instead of straight up deleting the altered vanilla perks I thought this would be best to not disrupt any existing subscribers to the mod.

As a note some skills like Death From Above have synergy with LW2 original abilities (like Double Tap) that will probably be lost if you toggle the changes off.

2021: Update, contrary to my intentions this mod does indeed contain the changes to base game perks, sorry about that.

I originally made this perk pack for private use for personal classes, however recently I thought it would make for a good resource for others and their own class mods so I polished it up a little for release.

Differences between this mod and the LW2 Class mod is A: The Classes are not here, B: Neither are the PCS chip stuff, C: there are toggle settings in the config file to disable the override to vanilla abilities.

Like with Favid’s Perk Pack mod the skills/perks by default should not show up on your soldiers as Xcom tree perks, however if you make a class that does then the perks from the class can indeed show up, to disable a specific perk from showing you can add it as an Excluded Ability in the Class Data INI

Edit 2022: I believe that contrary to the above skills can show up in random xcom tree rows as with any perk pack, since it’s years later I don’t remember if the LW2 skills do actually have an exception or not.

Also like Favid’s mod this should not do anything on it’s own.

Not an issue but Lone Wolf has a setting to edit the crit portion of the skill that shows up in game displayed as zero since that is the default, not a bug but wanted to let people know.

If anyone runs into anymore issues let me know and I’ll try to address them as best as I can, this mod was initially made for private use so there could be hiccups, report them if you find any.

I’d like to thank Favid for creating the LW2 Classes WOTC port, I will always enjoy these classes immensely and do suggest people to use the class mod at least for one playthrough.
