Europe Heraldry Historisation Project
Hi! I use the vanilla CoA creator tool to recreate the real heraldry of Europe. I do researches and look for the most accurate arms for every title from baronies to empires. If possible, I choose the most historically accurate one. Above all my goal is to add realism, aesthetic and diversity to the gameplay and to avoid all similar simplified or generated vanilla arms. Sometimes, if appropriate, I leave the vanilla CoAs unchanged.

– Norway & Finland – only counties. These were drafts but i still decided to release them because probably it’s the last update I’m going to do.
COMPATIBILITY
The mod is Ironman-compatible. Compatibility with other mods depends. May not work with mods changing the map.

USAGE
You can integrate my mod or use it for your projects and I don’t mind but I would just ask you to leave a link or mention of my authorship or whatever 🙂
P.S. for nerds: It is impossible for every title to have exclusively period-accurate arms, because: 1) Real heraldry developed slowly and there might not be any source describing arms of the places that were created earlier then (very often) 16-17th centuries. 2) Some places that’re present in the game may not even have any coats of arms (if so, I use the arms of nearest places).
But still, if possible I choose oldest symbols. If you’ve a nice idea how to make CoAs more historical (or any other good idea for my mod) you can let me know! <3
