Keeper of Secrets

This mod introduces a brand new, lore-friendly court position to Crusader Kings III: The Keeper of Secrets.

Every ruler needs eyes and ears in the shadows, a figure who trades in whispers and guards truths best left buried.

Detailed Aptitude System
The aptitude of your Keeper is dynamically calculated based on their Intrigue skill and relevant personality traits. Characters who are Deceitful, Ambitious, Paranoid, or have lifestyle traits like Schemer make for the most effective keepers.

Passive Realm Bonuses
Simply having the position filled provides your realm with powerful, scaling passive bonuses to hostile scheme resistance, personal scheme power, and more, all depending on your Keeper’s skill.

3 Unique & Interactive Tasks
Assign your Keeper of Secrets to one of three distinct tasks to focus their efforts and gain critical advantages.

Direct your Keeper’s expertise to master the shadows and outmaneuver your rivals:

Gather Whispers:Task your Keeper with listening to the court’s gossip and uncovering hidden truths.

Disrupt Plots: Weave a web of counter-espionage throughout your realm.

Weave Intrigues: Have your Keeper lay the groundwork for your own grand designs.

Should be compatible with most other mods that do not completely overhaul the court positions system.
