Tank Projectile Sound Overhaul
This sound mod overhauls a number of sound effects related to large gunnery projectiles (mainly AT-guns and smaller howitzers).
This mod’s overhauled sound effects include:
– projectile flybys with audible whistles
– ricochets with prominent flutter sounds
– tank hits with more intensity
This mod only changes sound files and should work with most other mods. If another mod interferes with the sounds of this one, make sure to activate it at last. Might be expanded in the future if there is demand for it.
The sound effects in this mod are not-off-the-shelf files you will find anywhere. The base sounds were sourced from Fmod Studio project for War Thunder, Hell Let Loose and Post Scriptum as well as YouTube videos and online sound libraries. Everything has been combined, mixed and matched by me in Audacity with special care to homogenize it with the vanilla sounds of the game.
