Description:

You can dig moats.
This video shows how to build moats.

How it works

You need a shovel to dig.
Right click on a natural ground tile and select Dig Moats. (moats are walkable tiles)
Over time, the moat will fill with rain water. (tainted water: you can use it to wash, water crops etc..)
Over time, the moat will fill with water from contiguous tile if any.
Once the moat is filled in, it becomes a vanilla water tile. (water are blocking tiles)

Sandbox options

You can decide to show shores around water tiles builts from moats (swimming pool style).
This allows to show paths that may be hidden otherwise but inhibits fishing.
You can also change the moats filling speed.
You can also deactivate vanilla digging conditions.

Limitations

some "floor" moat tiles mix poorly with shores. (like Vanilla Grave, SP & MP)
some "floor" moat tiles stil masking players on current tile. (in MP only)
water tile created from full moat tile is not updated (black square) until relog. (in MP only)
