Extended IMP Character Creation
This mod expands options for the IMP character. Perk selection is broader and adds one extra perk, which must be a talent, also known as a "blue perk". Starting equipment now varies and depends on stats and chosen perks.
Let me know if something doesn’t work or if you have some strong opinions about changes and I’ll try to fix it ASAP.
Change list:
- All 8 quirks added to the pool of personal perks. They are not very powerful, and some are outright harmful, but included to make all options available.
- Ambidextrous perk is added to the pool of tactical perks. Now even your IMP can stop looking at Tex with envy.
- Added 30 talents (unique vanilla character perks). They are separate from personal and tactical perks! Some talents are not included because they do not make sense or can potentially break the game. But I can add them too if someone will complain!
- (Optional) Reworked starting equipment for IMP – Smart™ Algorithm prepares appropriate equipment for your IMP depending on selected perks and character stats, resulting in 36 possible loadouts. This feature can be disabled in mod settings.
Compatibility:
This mod affects the IMP creation menu and character sheet screen, and will not be compatible with other mods that alter IMP creation process.
However this mod is fully compatible with other mods that add new perks or IMP character/avatars.
Info for modders:
This mod features three distinct perk pools, each containing all perks of a specific type. If another mod adds new perks, they will automatically be included in IMP perk options.
- Talents include all perks of type Perk-Personal.
- Tactical Perks include all perks of type Perk-Specialization.
- Personal Perks include all perks of type Perk-Personality.
