Description:

The mod comes with default audio text in Chinese. Please read the description carefully and make adjustments as needed.

This mod has extensive features and numerous customizable options. Please read the description thoroughly before using it.





Major Update on 2025/10/27: Added support for custom text/audio for all types of enemies. For details, check the update log.
Major Update on 2025/10/26: Added support for custom audio. You can modify text or add audio files, similar to my other Player Text Voice Mod.

If you don’t want to use the audio feature, you can disable it in the audio options via PgDn or set AudioEnable=False in the cfg file. Both methods achieve the same result.

Here’s a quick introduction:

Format: Function Name = Audio Folder Name
Audio files should be placed in the corresponding function folder under the Sounds directory in the MOD folder.
Example: Reload = enemy_reload
Audio files should be named in numerical order according to the text sequence, e.g., 0.mp3, 1.mp3, 2.mp3, etc.
Reload = enemy_reload
Combat = enemy_detection
Grenade = enemy_danger

Updated with 28 Havoc soldier combat audio files and 4 grenade audio files. Feel free to update and experience the changes.

To modify text, edit the EnemyVoiceMod.cfg file:
[ReloadTexts]

Text displayed when enemies reload. You can add as many as you like.
[DetectionTexts]

Text displayed when enemies detect the player or engage in combat. You can add as many as you like.
[DangerTexts]

Text displayed when enemies detect grenades. You can add as many as you like.
Ensure the audio and text correspond correctly. For example, the first text in the cfg file should correspond to 0.mp3.

This mod simplifies, optimizes, and merges my previous text replacement mods. It aims to maintain stable frame rates in Farm Town. If you subscribe to this mod, you don’t need to keep the other three.

This mod offers extensive customization options, allowing you to customize various texts without limits (with a lag warning).

Press PgDn to open the control menu, where you can toggle specific modules, adjust mod settings, and more.

This directory contains configuration cfg files for detection and text-related files.

Additionally, this mod supports adjusting AI difficulty!

Press PgDn to open the in-game mod menu and adjust enemy parameters yourself!

DetectionRange=15 "Trigger combat range" – This range must be smaller than the targeting range. It’s the distance at which enemies move toward you and start shooting.

DetectionAngle=60 "Enemy field of view angle" – Self-explanatory. If set to the maximum, enemies can detect you even from behind.

CombatRange=20 "Enemy targeting range" – This distance must be larger than the combat range. Enemies will enter an alert state when you enter this range.

GrenadeCheckRadius=15 "Grenade detection radius" – A larger value makes enemies better at avoiding grenades, while a smaller value makes them weaker.
