- China: Longmen Grottoes, Mogao Grottoes, Maijishan Grottoes, Kumārajīva Temple, Kongxiang Temple, Jinshan Temple, Xuanzhong Temple, Yuquan Temple, Bailuzhou Academy, Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, Mount Moganshan, Mount Danxia, Xiangyang Fortress City.
- China – Western Regions: Beiting Fortress City, Ningrong Temple.
- China – Tibet Regions: Kumbum Monastery, Guge Palace, Mount Kailash, Jiuzhaigou.
- China – Northeastern Regions: Yongning Temple, Fengguo Temple.
- Vietnam: Ha Long Bay.
The following buildings have been removed because they were added in vanilla game: Laizhou Gold Mine, Zijinshan Gold Mine, Tongguanshan Copper Mine, Hanxing Iron Mine, Zigong Salt Well, Baofeng Silver Mine, Baoshan Silver Mine, Taishun Silver Mine, and Daye Iron Mine.
Yingtian Academy, Daxiangguo Temple, White Horse Temple, and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda may all be upgraded to Imperial Academy; the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and White Deer Grotto Academy have received a little enhancements.
If you have already subscribed to Architect of Wonders, you can enable the "MOD History Special Buildings" option in the Game Rules; They have the same effect. However, if you start game at 1066/1178, Daxiangguo Temple shall be superseded by the Kaifeng Palace, unless you are using the Architect of Wonders!
