All the Men-at-Arms mentioned above have newly drawn icons.

  • The Composite Crossbow Innovation unlocks the Crossbowmen Men-at-Arms and the Crossbowmen Accolades (Han and Tangut cultures unlock it by default in 867).

Iranian, Muslim, Crusader Men-at-Arms
Iranian Men-at-Arms

The Ancient Authority of Brilliance legacy unlocks Grivpanvar and Asawira (slightly adjusted) Men-at-Arms. And the Splendor Reborn of Brilliance legacy unlocks the Restore The Immortals Decision which enables rulers who were Zoroastrians or whose culture had Iranian heritage to recruit Zhayedan and Pushtigban Men-at-Arms.

  • Asawira: Slightly increased stats and reduced recruitment cost.
  • Grivpanvar: Elite heavy cavalry, similar to the Tarkhan.
  • Zhayedan: Elite heavy infantry, powerful but small in number.
  • Pushtigban: Elite heavy cavalry, powerful but small in number, recruitable only by independent Emperor or Hegemon. (Only one regiment of Pushtigban can be recruited)

Muslim Men-at-Arms

Muslim rulers whose culture has the Ghilman Innovation can unlock Ghilman Men-at-Arms through the Training Ghilman Decision:

  • Ghilman: Large, resilient heavy cavalry, which has lower recruitment costs but higher maintenance costs.

Crusader Men-at-Arms

The rulers of Crusader kingdoms can unlock 3 Outremer Men-at-Arms through the Recruit Crusader Warriors Decision:

  • Outremer Dismounted Knights: Small in number but resilient and reliable heavy infantry.
  • Outremer Knights: Powerful elite heavy cavalry.
  • Pavisiers: Powerful elite crossbowmen, effectively counters cavalry.

Gunpowder Men-at-Arms

The Fire Medicine innovation will unlock different gunpowder Men-at-Arms depending on the culture. Specifically, East Asian cultures will unlock Fire Lancers, Greek heritage cultures will unlock Greek Fire, and the remaining cultures will unlock Handgunners.
The data of the three types of Men-at-Arms have been rebalanced. It should be noted that Fire Lancers will be strengthened with each era.
The Gunpowder innovation will still unlock Handgunners for all cultures, and at the same time will provide a modifier of Damage 6/Toughness 2/Screen 5 for gunpowder Men-at-Arms to ensure that the strength of late-game gunpowder Men-at-Arms remains consistent with the vanilla game.

Here is the Men-at-Arms Data Table of this MOD.
