Description

My Total Elements mod takes Three Kingdoms’s Five-Element system and expands on it. I have added three additional traits for each element and I have (painstakingly) revised every attribute to have negative consequences if any of a commander’s elemental levels are too low.

I am very disappointed with the original attribute system, especially because Cunning, Instinct, and Authority commanders did not have any influence on province management. I have added administrative traits to the aforementioned elements. Cunning now affects commerce, Instinct now affects construction speed, and Authority now influences public order.

Elemental attributes now start off weaker, but scale better. The addition of negative consequences to elemental attributes makes planning out administrative roles more interesting, and makes higher level characters much more valuable in the early game.

Each attribute becomes neutral (no pro or con) at an elemental level of 50. After reaching 50, attributes quickly scale to meet Three Kingdoms’ original values (~ Level 75). Additional LEGENDARY traits unlock past elemental level 100.

Total Elements attribute mod affects both the Player and the AI, and has been balanced for Romance and Historical modes.

Total Elements should be compatible with most mods unless they specifically change the modifiers I use in the character_attribute_effects table. In most cases, my mod will just work with whatever other attribute mod you are using.
