Brief

This mod is based on [EA-HI] Animated Barotrauma, adds male characters and outfits on its base, also some original contents. Some of [EA-HI] Animated Barotrauma content are not contained, which could be said to be my personal judgement.

This is mainly a beautification mod, containing translated character name list (Chinese). If you want to reset, there’s a patch for it, or you can do it by yourself. Besides, it adds extra items, such as new I.O.P. exoskeleton and backpacks.

Added dynamic bullet spread to many firearms.

Mod has also adjusted vanilla weapons. Textures are replaced, and firepower are modified. Some modifications are made to show difference between weapons. For example, rifle has higher single shot damage, while handcannon has an extra damage detection with less damage in a single shot, making it more effective against local residents on Europa. Overall, firepower is higher than vanilla, but outpost bandits also get enhanced.

What should be pointed out in particular is that, when you want to use mods concerned with modifying outpost bandits and vanilla weapons, give them higher priority.

Murmur something

Many years later as I opened this page, I was to remember that distant afternoon. The beginning of everything was just a pro’s mod, which lacked cultists’ outfits.

Yes, at the very beginning I just wanted to add cultists’ outfits, but later I did more than I planned. That’s how this mod appears. As why I didn’t use other beautification mods, it’s just simply because characters in [EA-HI] Animated Barotrauma are quite to my appetite…

This mod contains new models for both male and female characters. Many of outfits and haircuts are from other mods. I also made some by myself. My outfits may be not so fancy as other modders’, for I am just a student majoring in foreign languages without professional art education. I’ll write down where I got these from at the end. You can find detailed lists in the mod file.

[/strike] Male characters will play original hurt voice in the game, while other sound effects remain the same with [EA-HI] Animated Barotrauma. Maybe I will change them after studying a suitable audio editing software.

Done. Now male characters have their own voice.
I also translated characters’ names into Chinese. If you want to use the original English names or the one used by [EA-HI] Animated Barotrauma, you can do it by yourself. The method I have written down in the mod file.
Besides new outfits and male characters, I also added some new weapons and equipment, and some interesting (loudspeaker.mp4).

Now I have modified many values of vanilla weapons…
I also added edited [BOS]Backpack in to match with new characters’ models. Well, this mod is modified to not conflict with the original one.
Bigger Heavy Wrench mod is also added.
