GTS Categorizer (beta)
Breaks the GTS up into buckets for each unique supply cost, sorts each bucket’s entries alphabetically, and then separates entries by availability. Throws in a pretty title bar above each bucket to wrap things up.
Intended for mod lists that add lots of unlocks, but should work fine for smaller ones as well.
Note that the thumbnail is from an early version of the GTS Expander, which is out now.
May break with other mods that try to edit the actual GTS unlock list, but I’m not aware of any outside of big overhauls like Long War of the Chosen. (haven’t actually tested this, but it sounds like it’d break? let me know)
Hopefully compatible with controllers, but I’m not set up to test that. Please report back if you give it a go!
Despite extensive testing from my end (and a ton of guards/checks in the code), the mod is not battle-tested yet; UI code and mod compatibility are both big, messy things. A bit more hands-on testing with slower systems/setups will also be nice to have.
Should be safe to add or remove at any time, but I’d recommend saving a bit more often (using different slots!) just in case. Also expect a bit of log spam, nothing too crazy.
- Item selection always starts 3-4 entries down.
- GTS images may zoom slightly if different mods use different image sizes. Should be very rare, select another item to fix.
No luck tracking these down yet, but they’re very minor. (and may be intrinsic to UI modding?)
Better Cost Strings: Makes cost text way more useful. Fully compatible.
