Audible Naval Invasion Alert

Ever found yourself too engrossed in the game while managing a large war, then zoom out to find that you’re being naval invaded? With the Audible Naval Invasion Alert mod, you’ll never miss another invasion again. Any time a naval invasion begins in a state that belongs to you, an audible warning will play, making it very clear that you’re being targeted by enemy landing parties!

ANIA includes the following alert options, configurable via game rule:

• Ship horn (reusing the flotilla upgrade sound effect)
• Metal ping (reusing the naval invasion admiral order sound effect)
• Naval alert from Hearts of Iron IV
• Ship bell (generic ship’s bell sound effect clanging twice)

In the demo video, the music volume was at 50% and SFX was at 100%.

Take care to lower or mute your game audio when loading a save that has many naval invasions targeting your states, as it will play the alert sound for all invasions simultaneously upon loading in.

You may get a game crash pop-up after exiting Vic3 with this mod installed. I am not sure how to remedy this, but I’ve not noticed any negative consequences from these exit crashes happening, so I don’t think you should be alarmed. Just know you should expect it to happen every time you close the game.

This mod works alone and may be placed anywhere with respect to any other mods you have.

This mod does not rely on any DLC features, so you should not need any DLCs.
