Etra is a fantasy total conversion for EU5. It is an entirely new fantasy world that is intended to bring the best of fantasy into the EU5 framework. As such, the mod is intended to be a vanilla++ experience, With minimal adjustments to the core gameplay systems and loop of EU5. Come with me on this journey together as we explore the potential of a new world. The mod is currently fully playable until end date. New updates will further expanded the map, as the fallout from the magical cataclysm departs.
Lore Overview:
At least Thrice has the World perished. Once by the Flame, once by Frost, once again by Steel. Very nearly a fourth time: During an event known as The Day, a magical cataclysm erupted and scared the world, birthed and stopped by unknown hands. In nearly two hundred years since that day, the world has slowly been re-built, and now that cataclysm slowly passes into myths and memories. The inhabitants of the world have continued as they have ad nauseam, dying, living, hating, loving, killing. As an indifferent sun rises on an unfamiliar world, the world enters an age similar to our own’s early modern era.
-Explore a new high fantasy world, similar to our but has undergone a few noticeable changes.
-Racial mechanics have been implemented: Based on the percentage of each race in a location, that location will receive a unique modifier for that particular race. For example, locations with a large percentage of Ratfolk will have increased pop growth, but at the cost of higher food consumption. Undead characters are immortal but can not have children.
