Description:

You’ve spent your life conquering and expanding your realm, only to lose it all to death and have your half whit son who can’t do anything and everyone hates take over… Well worry no more thanks to the wonderfully game breaking Genetic Memory! Fear not that fording trait shan’t be lost to the void! Provided of course you acquired it before you boniked your partner…

The exact details are,
Trait Inheritance:
• 50% chance to inherit 1 random personality trait from father (if paternal/full memory)
• 50% chance to inherit 1 random personality trait from mother (if maternal/full memory)
• 100% transfer of lifestyle, commander, and whitelisted fame traits from each parent
• 10% chance to upgrade from paternal+maternal traits to full genetic memory

Skill Inheritance:
• 60% of each parent’s skill values transferred to child

Lifestyle Perk Points Inheritance:
• Child receives 50% of parent’s perk count per lifestyle as unspent perk points
• Counts perks across all trees in Diplomacy, Martial, Stewardship, Intrigue, Learning, and Adventurer lifestyles
• Child can spend these points on any perks they choose within each lifestyle

Inheritance Chances (Game Rules):
• Unlikely: 50% chance the genetic memory traits are inherited
• Likely: 75% chance the genetic memory traits are inherited
• Guaranteed: 100% chance the genetic memory traits are inherited

Restrictions (Or it will get way out of hand, besides such power is too good for those pesky Karlings!):
• Paternal memory: males only, requires father’s dynasty (unless game rule overrides)
• Maternal memory: females only, requires mother’s dynasty (unless game rule overrides)
• Full memory: inherits from both parents if dynasty requirements met

AI disclosure:
Much of the code for this was generated via AI. While I am a professional programmer this was a silly game breaking mod that I thought was a fun idea after watching Dune, and yeah I didn’t want to go through the hard yards of learning this under documented language to do it, not that I could totally get away with it.
