Updates and expands the content for Council Republics.
After consolidating the council republic by completing the People’s Revolution JE, interest groups will begin to change their ideologies to match the new conditions:
- The Petite Bourgeious will become the Managers, losing interest in Governance Principles and becoming supporters of the new economic system.
- The Intelligentsia will replace Republican/Constitutionalist with Socialist. In a Command Economy or non-democratic republic, they can additionally become the Nomenklatura and replace Liberal ideology with support for a powerful bureaucratic state.
- An Anarchist-led Armed Forces can become the Black Army, replacing Loyalism with Militant Anarchism. The Red Army event has also been updated to make the IG Socialist instead of Proletarian. In either case, your current roster of commanders is purged and replaced with new commanders of the appropriate ideologies.
- Command Economy and Cooperative Ownership enable new interactions to replace Company Executives
- If the Council Republic is overthrown after the IGs have evolved, a special JE can revert them back to their original ideologies.
- Overhauled the vanilla journal entries for council republics (People’s Revolution into Anarchy/Communism/Vanguardism paths) with new requirements and rewards.
- Overhauled the Five Year Plans JE, now actually expects to be completed in 5 years, new interactions and rewards
- New World Revolution JE that rewards spreading the revolution to the other Great Powers
- New Proletarians of All Nations JE that rewards embracing internationalism and ending your own colonialism
- New Realm of Freedom JE with impossibly high requirements representing the strive for a post-scarcity society
- Several new flavor events tied to socialist revolutions and laws
- Incorporates Socialist Union Laws, adding two new Labor Association laws for Council Republics
- People’s Revolution JE now spawns for any council republic even if the socialists failed in The Spectre Haunting the World
- TUs now support Public Schools innately
- Anarchists now oppose borders, oppose secret police, and support collectivized agriculture
- Vanguardists now support secret and militarized police
- Nihilists now oppose religious schools and healthcare
- Disabled The New Machine JE for council republics (replaced with The New Class)
- Anarchy now has 25 minimum legitimacy, disables radicals/loyalists from legitimacy, and has an influence penalty
- Council Republic now adds a small baseline attraction to socialist movements
- Single-Party State now has -75% loyalists from legitimacy and +75% radicals from legitimacy
- Any council republic can enact Command Economy
- Collectivized Agriculture now comes with an event to choose between gradual or immediate collectivization
Requires a new save game to initialize the laws.
Overwrites the anarchist/communist/vanguardist ideologies. Overwrites law_collectivized_agriculture.
Not BPM Compatible. Should be otherwise compatible with anything that doesn’t overwrite the socialist laws.
Soft-requires Shocks to the System for full functionality.
