At long last… MP IS FINALLY HERE!

B42.14 brought some much-needed changes, there’s new api for modders among many QOL & balance improvements to the game. unfortunately, it also broke lots of mods in the process… all other versions of Common Sense are now borked. This is an (unofficial) patch for Braven’s Common Sense which lets it be compatible with B42.14 MP & Beyond!

yes, this also works for singleplayer

As of Build 42.14; multiplayer is very unstable in its current state.

Desync and other issues have been reported by the community. as such, there might be certain parts of the original Common Sense which unpredictably could be broken with MP.
Unless this mod is appropriated by Braven, I will be working on patching this as often as MP receives new updates, or if users run into severe errors while using the patch.
If you are dealing with any MP-specific issue related to Common Sense or this community patch; please create a post in the Bug-Report discussion thread.

To have the best experience possible with this mod, please place it at the bottom of the list in your mod load order. As of v2.0.0, this is now a standalone mod –

For Dedicated servers, use this in your server settings:

If you are a mod author and encountering compatibility errors; with either this unofficial patch or the main Common Sense, I cannot make any guarantees, but I can try to fix potential issues. keep in mind however, any patches done must be respectful of the Common Sense IP.

CSMPB42 is a community patch. I am not affiliated with Braven, nor has this project been officially endorsed by them.
if they choose to, it is at Braven’s discretion to implement the code from this into the official Common Sense post, or do with it as they will.

Out of respect for Braven, I will be actively removing toxic comments from this post.
Creating mods such as Common Sense requires an immense amount of time & patience. projects like these helps keep the PZ community alive!
