Description:

ELERIUM WAR (ADDON/DLC FOR EXPANDED DAWN)

Year 6597.

The Consortium finally achieved what many believed was impossible:
the large-scale harvesting of the planet’s local Elerium deposits.

At first, Elerium was cataloged as a rare and beautiful crystal — unstable, luminous, and full of untapped potential.
But curiosity turned into ambition, and ambition into exploitation.

The Consortium began refining Elerium for industrial and military purposes.
Weapons were redesigned. Systems were reworked. Entire production lines were reshaped around this new resource.

Soon, Elerium was no longer just mined.
It was consumed.

Battlefields changed.
Energy weapons burned brighter.
Rail-based armaments pierced through defenses once thought impenetrable.
Laser technology reached levels never recorded before.

As Elerium spread through Consortium infrastructure, the planet itself began to suffer.
Regions once considered safe became contested zones.
Extraction sites turned into warfronts.
Smoke, fire, and glowing blue fractures now mark the land.

What was once a survival struggle against hostile environments has become something far worse:
a full-scale resource war.

Every faction wants Elerium.
Every battle revolves around it.
And every conflict leaves the world more unstable than before.

This is no longer about progress.
It is about control.

The crystal that promised advancement has ignited endless conflict —
and there is no turning back.

This is ELERIUM WAR.

Improved Description (English)

You might be wondering: “Hey, Elerium – isn’t that a resource from Expanded Dawn?”
You’re absolutely right.

This mod is an add-on for Expanded Dawn. It does not introduce new resources by itself, but instead focuses on a complete robot overhaul.

Robot Overhaul

G1000 Vanguards
Now equipped with Laser Spikes up to Tier 4 (no Elerium Based) and Carbon Crossbows.

G2000 Enforcers
Use standard Pulse Gun Laser Swords and Laser Blasters up to Tier 4.

G3000 Devesators
Receive the biggest upgrade.
While Elerium still doesn’t appear directly, these units can now use up to Tier 4 Railguns or Pulse Guns.
Be careful: they move under Tier 4 weapon rules and are extremely dangerous.

Elerium Phantoms
Can access all Elerium-based weapon types, and potentially even higher-tier equipment.

Balance Changes (Newest Changelog)

G1000 Vanguards G2000 Enforcers G3000 Devesators and Elerium Phantoms got a New Skin Color for them to Make things even Better or Worse who knows XD

Loot & Difficulty

All robots now drop Elerium and Adamantium
(Experimental – values may change)

This overhaul significantly increases difficulty.
Yes, it may feel unfair at first – but trust me, once you obtain Elerium weapons, the balance shifts heavily in your favor.

To compensate for the increased damage output, robots now have 100% more health.

The DLC Robots&Guardians is required

This mod will not work without Expanded Dawn
