Game Crash Skipper

This mod attempts to force-skip certain game errors to prevent crashes, helping players continue their game and assisting mod authors in quickly locating error sources and conflict origins.

Requires the Bannerlord four essential mods:

• Harmony
• ButterLib
• UIExtenderEx
• Mod Configuration Menu v5 / MCM

Place this mod after the four essential mods.

• Attempts to skip certain game errors and reduce crash interruptions
• Errors that cannot be skipped will trigger a popup displaying detailed error information
• Export detailed error reports for mod authors to locate issues
• Supports AI-generated fix patches
• Built-in save diagnostics and save repair tool
• Battlefield mod protection, suitable for large mod environments

When an exception occurs in the game, this mod attempts to intercept certain errors to allow the game to continue running.

Most common errors can be skipped, making it useful for troubleshooting mod conflicts, temporarily continuing gameplay, or helping authors identify the cause of crashes.

Note:
Not all errors can be skipped. Some severe errors will still prevent the game from running.

When encountering an unskippable error, the mod will display a popup with specific error details. Players can take screenshots for feedback or provide the error information to mod authors for investigation.

This mod supports AI-assisted generation of fix patches.

Usage:

• First, configure the AI interface in the MCM menu
• After a game error occurs, use the AI patch generation feature
• Restart the game after the patch is generated
• Re-enter the game to test whether the crash is fixed

Tip:
AI fix patches are an auxiliary feature. It is recommended to back up your save and related mod files before use.

The mod can export detailed error reports containing exception information, call stacks, related mod information, and more.

Players can send these reports to mod authors, making it easier for them to quickly identify the cause of errors.

This mod includes built-in save diagnostics and a save repair tool, which can help players inspect abnormal data in save files and attempt to fix certain issues caused by corrupted data.

Please be sure to back up your original save before using the save repair feature.

This mod is compatible with large mods such as The Old Realms.

If you encounter the following situations:

• Stuck on the battlefield loading screen
• Crash when entering a battle
• Battlefield-related error messages

You can try disabling the "Battlefield Mod Protection" option in the MCM menu.

If the game runs fine with it enabled, it is recommended to keep it on. This feature can skip many battlefield-related errors and improve stability in large mod environments.
