A performance mod with incredibly original alt-history scenario that is absolutely not inspired by anything.
IMPORTANT NOTE: YEARLY LAG IS STILL THERE AND IT WONT GO AWAY ANYWHERE NEVER EVER
Tho i managed to get it from around 1 minute and 10-30 seconds to just 15 seconds including monthly tick and autosave(2nd jan lag itself is just 11 seconds, 1st feb is around 4 seconds). Monthly lag for me is 1 second, month itself is 2 seconds.
My specs are intel core i5-3550, 16gb ddr3 and everything else is not important. Basically you can expect around 5-8x performance increase compared to base meiou. Better pc could yield better results but no idea.
The only upside of this submod is performance – there is no flavour, no unique mechanics, pretty much nothing that would make it better than base meiou. If you have patience/good pc/both and you can handle base 3.0 – probably no point in using this mod.
What’s in the mod already: Germany, eastern/northern europe, most of asia, most of africa are wastelands(historically accurate). Western europeans are uncivilized barbarians(not a political statement). Reforms, privileges and economy were re-done to suit the scenario.
NIs are done for almost all countries except some minors. Dont tell me my NIs are shizophrenic(i know).
CBs were slightly reworked. New CBs were added. Conquest for tribals is available only if they have 5 mil ruler – otherwise only raid and empire(new cb).
American natives have huge malus to defensiveness and tech cost until commercialization is embraced.
Normans have early access to explo and expeditions(around 6-7 techs earlier). Currently its tied to their trade node so irish and kaledonians also have it except early exploration, will try to find a way to make it normann-exclusive.
Invader tags(Marcomanni, Sclaveni and Langobardi) are a bit of a placeholder for now, i didnt really balance them yet. Should be playable but dont expect the level of normal countries.
Starting diplomacy is done on a basic level. Some guarantees and subjects here and there. Feel free to drop suggestions.
Bureaucratic ideas are only available if you have centralism embraced.
Population, natural features, cities and resources were significantly redistributed. Any feedback is welcome.
Added decisions to equalize state reach in your provinces for a small price. Added decision to enforce your commercial law on your subjects(available at 8 commerce and higher).
Alliances slots were reduced. Military access and embargo are disabled. Naval attrition for transported troops is significantly reduced. Irrigation now affects spices(double the effect relative to crops effect, +84% on 7th lvl, not in the localisation yet because requires testing. Probably also affects game but not sure)
Americas are almost untouched(yet) except boring parts of it are wastelands as well. India is WIP.
Some wastelands are redrawn for better map painting(egypt, arabia, northern africa, central asia).
More difficulty submod integrated. Cheat submod is compatible. Graphic submods should work fine. Any other mods are incompatible. Traveller is not compatible and never will be.
