While other mods create new problems by forcing you into one overwatch behavior or the other, this mod lets you choose ingame. In danger and want to hold your position and only fire in overwatch if a baddy finds you? Check! Want to turn off the safeties and fire at will on the next enemy turn? Check! This ensures your tactical options get an upgrade rather than a side-grade.

Think Shoot Concealed is too much cheese for you? With this mod, you can fully configure penalties for it. Use them to help reign in the advantage to keep a more level playing field, so that you can enjoy the additional tactical freedom this mod offers, without guilt.

Care has been taken to ensure the default state should be plug and play for most.
If you want to customize, though, every meaningful behavior has been exposed for MCM config.

A misclick of the manual reveal ability can end an Ironman run. So, to ensure this bad boy can sit on your HUD without introducing undesirable risk, I went further and built intelligent confirmation prompts that give you critical intel before you commit, such as:

• Which enemy pods will activate (by pod number and leader)
• Total pod sizes (configurable: visible enemies only, or full pod count)
• Which squadmates will be detected by each pod
• How many visible Phantom/Shadow units will remain concealed
• Color-coded warnings (squad reveal vs. unit reveal)

You’re not forced to click through meaningless dialogs, you’re only warned when it matters.
And if you want zero prompts? Disable them entirely.
