Fair, the red velvet cheesecake born in a painted world inside a canvas, she barely able to escape the catastrophic destruction of the canvas and escape painted world to live in the real world. Fight with the power of ink, scythe, blade, resizable claw ears, and her being clumsy. Fair is an all-rounder fighter that are awesome at rushdown, her playstyle is engaging in close combat to build up her Chroma gauge from her actions, perform a continuous combo with her mix of switching between ground and aerial attacks. When gauge is max, unleash a devastating final attack!
She’s Jolly and usually giggles, but also very disoriented and absent-minded. She tends to forget things, confused, and be clumsy hehe. In exchange, she is very-very powerful. She had a new partner in the real world who is a living plushie named Gael, He is a strong fighter that arrived during taunt to play video games and platform respawn for Fair. Fair like to use different colors of Ink and also she is bad at painting, she only able to paint visual effects from her new video game interest instead of painting a living being. In outside world with Gael on her side, she is able to enjoy a new chill life in the real world and learn many new things!
She got special gauge called chroma, chroma is a special life force that was needed for painted creature to be able to live. The chroma can be gained by attacking enemies, taunt, and parries.
Swing your scythe and shoot a crescent moon shape projectile forward in form of chroma, it cost few chroma gauge. It’s the only ranged attack she has and it’s a good option to deal damage from afar. When your chroma gauge is full, your NSPECIAL will become NSPECIAL: SUPER.
Pull enemy near you and hold your scythe like a gun, then shoot quick 9 rapid blasts of ink with pulling capability, while Fair getting pushed backwards. This NSPECIAL2 has big combo potential to extend your combo, this attack will reset your FSPECIAL limit, allowing you to perform FSPECIAL again.
Slash and move multiple times upward with the blade using colored ink and in the final hit, Fair swing a flaming scythe downwards that will cause burn. You can use your movement controls to change the movement direction. It’s an attack that launch enemy upwards but also a spike downwards, which is a bit opposite of it’s purpose, but spiking enemy from high above will look soo cool, hehe.
Enter a parry stance by holding the blade, when enemy attacks you in any form of attack during the parry stance, you will deflect it and do a single slash in color of crimson ink forward. You will be immune to any attacks in the duration of the counterattack. Also you gain few chroma gauge for deflecting. Hesitation is defeat they said hehe.
Thrust with the blade forward, when you hit an enemy, you will teleport slightly in front of them and launching both of you slightly above the air, a very good follow up to extend your combo. You can use it to strike a wall to gain a slight recovery. A good combo recovery option alongside USPECIAL since USPECIAL didn’t launch you very high.
When Chroma gauge is full, you are overflowed with inks, your neutral special will change into a large beam wave attack, it will deal multi-hit attack and the attack will get stronger and bigger. I guess she launches a cannon of inks, how can there be more inks than what she has stored in her vessel? I guess she got tricks hehe.
● When DTILT hits, the endlag can be canceled with jump, allowing to quick follow up with aerial attacks.
● When DATTACK hits, it can now be combo’d into USTRONG, DSTRONG, or FSPECIAL.
● When DAIR or UAIR hits, it can now be followed up with FSPECIAL easily.
● When BAIR hits, the endlag can be canceled with jump.
● USTRONG, FSTRONG, & DSTRONG can be charged to launch the improved version of the attacks.
● DAIR, slash scythe downwards, using it will cause Pogo and you able to do it again when enemy is in solid surface.
● TAUNT, Gael is inviting you to a video game session, it will regenerate your chroma slightly.
● BAIR, using tempest ink, launch you backward and changing your facing direction, allowing you to escape from fight while dealing damage.
● FAIR, grows your ears bigger and pierce forward.
● NAIR, unleash ink around her and cause multi-hit damage.
● On the air, you can press down twice to send you down super faster, this can also be used for specific moves that benefit more vertical control.
● TAUNT button + UP or TAUNT button + DOWN allows you to switch NSPECIAL modes.
