Attraction-Based Seduction, Romance & Marriage: Loyal Soulmates & Lovers

Tired of one-size-fits-all “no AI seduction/romance” mods that completely block all romantic events?

Want your lovers and soulmates to remain completely loyal even without marriage? (They will only marry you, only take you as their spouse/concubine, only elope with you, and only seduce/romance you.)

Feel like the vanilla success rates for Seduction/Romance schemes and AI acceptance of marriage/elopement feel unrealistic? (Now influenced by sexual attraction, with different modifiers based on your relationship, plus loyalty checks for lovers and soulmates.)

Hate how in vanilla, only married spouses get some resistance to seduction under certain conditions, while romance has almost none, and it still can’t 100% prevent affairs?

Want your lovers and soulmates to only marry you and only have you as their lover, no matter the gender laws or marriage doctrines (monogamy, polygamy, female-dominated, etc.)?

This mod fulfills all of the above.

Ⅰ. Loyal Soulmates & Lovers

Sets the minimum success rate of Seduction and Romance schemes to 0%.

Adds a new trait: Devoted Lover (Do not give this trait to your own player character.)
This trait is the core of the mod.
It has a 1% chance to appear on randomly generated or newborn characters and is inheritable. If your player character happens to spawn with it, it is recommended to remove it via console or cheats.

No marriage required — as long as your lover/soulmate has the Devoted Lover trait and does not have the rakish trait, the effects will apply.

Characters with the Devoted Lover trait will never gain the rakish trait through events.
Apart from the attraction-related features (some of which are also affected by the Devoted Lover trait), all other features of this mod are based on “loyal devoted characters” — those who have the Devoted Lover trait, no rakish trait, and possess a soulmate or lover.
In the following description, I will refer to such characters as “Loyal Devoted” for brevity.

1. Being Seduced / Romanced

If the seducer/romancer is AI and not the target’s soulmate/lover, and the target is a “Loyal Devoted” with a soulmate: Seduction/Romance success rate -10000
If the seducer/romancer is the player: success rate -300 only
If the seducer/romancer is AI and not the target’s soulmate/lover, and the target is a “Loyal Devoted” with a lover: success rate -1000
If the seducer/romancer is the player: success rate -200 only

Conclusion: When the target is a “Loyal Devoted”, any seducer/romancer who is neither their lover nor soulmate will suffer a massive penalty to success rate.

2. Active Seduction / Romance

“Loyal Devoted” characters will never actively seduce or romance anyone except their own lover/soulmate. (Player characters are also restricted — so again, do not give your own character the Devoted Lover trait!)

3. Flavor Events

Changed the triggers: If either party is a “Loyal Devoted”, events such as becoming lovers, becoming soulmates, or committing adultery will not trigger. This has higher priority than vanilla conditions.
(There may be omissions. The best mod in this regard is 红阳Prior’s "Cut Off the AI’s Perverted Hands," but this mod is incompatible with it, so… please choose according to your own needs.)
(Theoretically, even in cultures/religions that normally allow affairs, a “Loyal Devoted” character with no rakish trait should never cheat once they have a lover/soulmate.)

PS:
If you want to be extra safe, give your lovers/soulmates the Devoted + Loyal + Faithful traits, remove Lustful + Deceitful + Unfaithful, and avoid religions/cultures that allow infidelity. This should eliminate virtually all cheating risks.
If the mod works as intended, simply ensuring your lovers/soulmates have the Devoted Lover trait and no rakish trait should be sufficient.

Ⅱ. Attraction Influence Added

(Recommended to use together with my other mod: Epitome of Perfection & Celestial Beauty)
Added sexual attraction modifiers to:

Seduction & Romance scheme success rates
AI acceptance of marriage / elopement proposals
Acceptance of concubines/concubines offered by others

Seducers/romancers/marriage partners/elopers/concubines have attraction until age 50 (female) / 65 (male).
Immortal characters’ attraction is unaffected by age (based on their apparent immortal age).
Final success rate receives a multiplier based on the current sexual attraction of the seducer/romancer/etc.
Different multipliers are applied depending on the current relationship between the marriage/elopement/concubine target and the other party (no relationship, lover, or soulmate).

Ⅲ. Reduced Influence of Other Factors on Seduction/Romance Schemes

Removed Diplomacy’s influence on Romance schemes
Removed Intrigue’s influence on Seduction schemes
Weakened opinion influence (Seduction: opinion × 0.5, max +25; Romance: opinion × 0.5, max +40)
Weakened the impact of traits, status, etc. on scheme success rates

Ⅳ. Marriage, Elopement & Concubinage

(Theoretically, no matter the gender laws or marriage system, a “Loyal Devoted” will never accept/propose marriage, take as concubine, or elope with anyone who is not their soulmate/lover — with one exception: if the proposer has extremely high attraction, e.g. +1000.)

These features activate if the character has marriage/concubinage autonomy.
Elopement features always apply.

1. Marriage & Concubinage Loyalty — “No One But You”

“Loyal Devoted” characters will never actively propose marriage, take concubines, or elope with anyone who is not their own lover/soulmate. (The proposal list will only contain their own lover/soulmate.)

2. Marriage & Elopement Loyalty — “White Moonlight”

“Loyal Devoted” characters will never accept marriage proposals, offered concubines, or elopement requests from others (with massive negative opinion modifiers of -1000 if they already have a lover, or -2000 if they have a soulmate).
If the proposer / offered concubine / eloper is the player, the penalty is reduced to only -100.

3. Marriage Loyalty — “Possessiveness”

If a “Loyal Devoted” AI controls the marriage autonomy of their lover/soulmate, they will refuse any marriage proposals made to that lover/soulmate by others.

PS:
Incompatible with mods like “No AI Groping” by Prior (Red Sun). The mod loaded lower in the order will override files.

(Strongly recommended to use together with my other mod: Epitome of Perfection & Celestial Beauty, which adds two +1000 attraction traits. They are not inheritable and will not spawn on AI — only addable via character designer or cheats.)

Recommended to use Advanced Cheat Menu to add or remove the Devoted Lover trait.

All languages except Chinese were translated using AI.
