Divorce Allowed
-In the current vanilla EU5, rulers have no in-game means to divorce their spouses. Only rulers of Catholic countries can divorce through a country interaction with the Pope. I believe this significantly impacts both the game’s historical authenticity and the player’s enjoyment.Especially for Orthodox Christianity and Protestantism, not getting divorced could very likely lead to having no heirs.
-Therefore, this mod adds a "Divorce your spouse" interaction for non-Catholic rulers, along with AI logic for using it, allowing both players and AI rulers to divorce after paying a certain cost.
Added a character interaction for rulers: Divorce your spouse.
-Requirements:
1.Must be a ruler(use on himself/herself)
2.Religion must not be Catholic
3.Marriage law must be "Monogamous Marriage"
-Effects:
1.Divorce from spouse
2.-15 Stability, -30 Legitimacy
-Not at all. In fact, it makes the game more reasonable.
-Since the effects of this mod are achieved by modifying the underlying code, they apply equally to both the AI and the player. The probability of AI using this interaction is:
-When spouse age > 35: approximately 10% per year
-When spouse age > 40: approximately 30% per year
-In principle, this mod does not conflict with general mods.
-Ironman is not supported (To be honest, if the base game is already boring, why do you still care about Ironman? Subscribe now!)
