For everyone who has ever thought, "you know, these undead could be useful on a farm"
- Servants can now pull their weight at your home. This is OFF by default in the mod settings, so if you want your undead workforce clocking in, turn it on first, then set the servant to "Stash" and they will start working around the home.
- You can now open the menu with a hotkey (default: Shift + N). It only works while you’re carrying the tome, because apparently even forbidden knowledge still needs proper documentation.

Spell System Rework & VFX Enhancements
- Redesigned around three core pillars: "Crowd Control," "Attrition against high-tier enemies," and "The satisfaction of clearing with bombs."
- Expanded Necromancy spells to 21 types and unlocked spell leveling.
- Due to consolidation, the following spells have been discontinued (Existing grimoires will turn into Alchemy Ash):
* Bone Shield
* Empower Undead - Added a tactical guidebook (in-game book) sold by Hecatia.
- Necromancy spells now use unique custom particle FX (Experimental).
- To distinguish Undead Servants from pets, they now emit a creepy "refined" aura (Can be toggled in ModOptions. Default: ON).
- Added sound effects to several spells.
Servant Enhancement System Improvements
- Unlocked Soul Infusion for Speed (SPD).
- Changed enhancement efficiency from linear to a diminishing returns curve (to prevent stat explosions in the tens of thousands).
- Restricted bulk soul infusion in a single action (Rapid infusion via Quick Action is still possible).
- Body part reinforcement is now limited only by "Total parts ≤ 20" (Similar to Chaos Shape).
QoL
- Added support for storing/summoning servants (Individual or All) via the Grimoire.
Those who grasp the forbidden grimoire "Ars Moriendi — The Art of Dying" gain the power to capture souls, raise the dead as eternal servants, and eventually transcend humanity itself.
You are the Sixth Inheritor. The five predecessors all began with good intentions, and all of them were transformed.
Are the journals they left in the book teachings—or are they a form of erosion?
"The difference between ‘Erosion’ and ‘Education’? If you think that distinction matters, you still have much to learn."
— Erenos Verdict, Fifth Inheritor
◆ Collect Souls & Corpses
Mark enemies with spells, defeat them, and harvest their souls and bodies. Collected souls are used to unlock spells and resurrect servants.
◆ Servant Resurrection
Perform rituals using corpses and souls to raise permanent undead servants. Any character, including Uniques and Bosses, can be targeted. This is a unique minion system that does not consume pet slots.
◆ Necromancy Spells
Offer souls to progressively unlock 21 types of spells. Examples include "Soul Chain," which redirects lethal damage to your servants, and "Domain of Death," which balances AoE damage over time with ally healing.
◆ Servant Enhancement
Boost servant stats or add extra body parts using corpses as materials. However, over-enhancing carries the risk of the servant going berserk.
A psychological horror-themed questline depicting your fate as the inheritor of the forbidden book.
Karen of the Knights warns you of the fates of the five predecessors. Mysterious handwriting appears in exchange for power. Can you survive while resisting the curse of the Grimoire? The journey concludes with the "Apotheosis" ritual to attain overwhelming spiritual power.
- Erenos Verdict: The Fifth Inheritor. His consciousness persists within the book.
- Karen Gravorn: Ash Baroness of the Jure Order’s Templar Knights. An Elea.
- Hecatia: An undying merchant sealed within the book.
- After subscribing, the Grimoire will appear in Black Markets.
- Middle-click the book and select "Study Necromancy" to open the dedicated UI.
- Spell unlocking, servant management, and quest progression are all handled through this screen.

Q: The Grimoire isn’t appearing in the Black Market.
A: As a temporary workaround, use the console command to spawn it directly. Optionally discard 50,000 orens to maintain the karma of your soul.
Q: I’m getting spawn-killed by high-level NPCs !!!
A: Enemies up to Lv200 appear in the main quest. Consider the following:
- 1. Postpone the raids: Select "Suppress Power" from Chapter 4 of the book to temporarily stop the attacks.
- 2. Prepare for battle: Utilize "Soul Chain" and "Soul Recall" for zombie-style attrition tactics. Using "Preserve Corpse" to drop and instantly recruit enemies is also effective.
- 3. Ask Hecatia for help: Level 1000’s violence rains down upon Karen! Well, if it’s for the sake of roleplaying, perhaps this is the true path?
Q: I want to uninstall the mod.
A: To delete it safely, follow these steps:
- Place the Grimoire on the ground.
- Select Uninstall from the middle-click menu.
- Afterward, you can safely disable the Mod.
Q: The balance is off! / I found a bug!
A: Your feedback and suggestions are welcome. If you encounter an error, sharing your Player.log would be very helpful.
Q: Why not just use the existing pet system?
A: Because of my unyielding obsession…(ΦωΦ)
