Nobles Auto Marry – Continued (1.2)
A fix and continuation of Nobles Auto Marry by Fart Shartley, updated to work with Europa Universalis V patch 1.2.
Automatically pairs unmarried nobles (and optionally other estate types) for marriage each month, keeping your court populated without any manual effort. Configure eligibility rules, population limits, culture restrictions, and notification preferences through an in-game configuration panel accessible from the Situations screen.
- Automatically marries unmarried nobles (ages 18-25) each month
- Three eligibility modes: Unrestricted, Selective, Dynastic Preservation
- Culture restrictions: No restriction, Primary/Accepted/Tolerated only, or Primary culture only
- Optional auto-marriage for Burghers, Clergy, Peasants, Dhimmi, Tribes, Cossacks estates
- Royal marriage reminder for crown estate characters eligible for royal marriage (independently toggleable from regular notifications)
- Population control: optionally remove surplus courtiers above a configurable limit
- AI auto-marry support (disabled by default, enable in config)
- Full in-game configuration panel in the Situations screen
- Works on existing saves (the situation activates within one game month)
- Supports all game languages (English text as fallback; native translations welcome via GitHub)
Pure script mod with no base game files overwritten. Compatible with most other mods. The only potential conflict is if another mod also appends to monthly_country_pulse in on_action with overlapping keys.
Pairs well with Marry a Local Noble – Continued. That mod lets you marry your characters to a randomly generated local noble for 25 ducats when no suitable match is available in your court.
Requires EU5 patch 1.2.x.
Source code is available on GitHub[github.com]. Pull requests and bug reports welcome.
Want to help translate? The mod currently shows English text for all languages. If you’d like to contribute a translation for your language:
- Find your language file in main_menu/localization/[your_language]/ on GitHub
- Translate the text after each colon (do NOT change key names or anything inside [ ] brackets)
- Submit a pull request, or just paste your translation in the comments here and I’ll add it
All credit for the concept and original implementation goes to Fart Shartley. This version adds compatibility updates and bug fixes. If the original mod is ever updated, use that instead.
