This mod aims to achieve more realistic diplomacy.
I created this mod for myself , for my own favorite gameplay style, which is conquest through diplomacy, alliances and client states as a powerful Polis State – Trade Emporium, rather than through sizing territories.
This mod overhauls Rome II’s diplomacy logic to create a more thoughtful and reactive AI. Factions remember past behaviour, punish unreliable allies, and negotiate peace, war, and treaties in a more believable way.
Work in progress and subject to change.
Best used with a new campaign. Save-game compatible (it will not crush), but AI may not implement all the changes (mod might not work as intended ) .
Do not use with other mods that deal with diplomacy.
