Multiplayer Ruina Online
This mod adds a new online gamemode that fundamentally changes Library of Ruina’s combat system to support a Player v.s. Player environment. Here are a few of the changes that this mod brings to the table:
- Multiple reworked passives, including but not limited to The Strongest, Myo’s Prowess, Lone Fixer and Deflect Assault.
- A custom turn system where the slowest go first and the fastest can redirect enemies’ attacks.
- An anti-clash system which prevents a unit from redirecting an attack that is clashing with an ally (while holding left control).
- A custom redirection rule like Limbus Company that lets a unit redirect any attacks targetting themself regardless of speed.
- A fully fledged client-sided anti-cheat responsible for ensuring everyone is playing fair and vanilla.
- Deterministic seed-based lockstep gameplay that ensures match integrity.
- And much more planned for the future!
Since the mod is small right now and it may be hard to find matches, I have made a new community Discord server that you can join to find other players who are also interested in playing online multiplayer. If you want to be a part of the server, you can join that right here[discord.gg].
Due to the nature of this mod, any mods that modify combat in any way are not support and will not be supported anytime in the future. Every feature of multiplayer takes a lot of time, care and consideration and adding custom mod support would be a nightmare for development. So unfortunately as cool as it would be to play with Turbulence Office online, I will not be adding it anytime soon.
Ever since this mod has been released, I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback, and I truly appreciate everything you all say! If you want to give more feedback or report some bugs or even vent your frustrations about any features of the mod, feel free to join the Discord server and let me know. Every piece of feedback is one step closer to making that perfect mod just like lady Angela wants, so if you like the mod, make sure to leave a like and maybe a favourite, and if you don’t like it then leave a dislike instead. Cheers!
