Description

This is an optional addon for my Vanilla Bionics Expansion mod but it works as a standalone mod too. This mod expands the scope past the normal vanilla bionics. It adds a new set of advanced bionics with 150% efficiency and a number of different implants that can be installed into the brain, torso, ribcage and skull. To craft them you must research 2 new ultra tech projects. Advanced bionics generally cost double their normal counterparts, AI Chips require a AI Persona Core and some advanced components and other implants require various materials.

The vanilla Archotech that was previously at 150% efficiency is now 200% efficiency. It is now truly beyond human comprehension as the tooltips suggest. It’s extremely powerful but also extremely rare and expensive. Buying a single piece now costs more than double (previously 2,800).

In the future I may add more bionics. For the most part I want to make powerful specialized bionics and offer some comparable slot options. The existing stats for anything and everything may or may not need tweaking in some way so feel free to give feedback on it.

NOTE: Due to how body parts work installing a torso slot item removes all other bionics and adds the torso item. Installing a skull slot item removes all brain bionics and adds the skull item. The bionics are removed but not destroyed, they are safely sitting around afterward and can be reinstalled.

Like bionics implants have a limit of 1 per location. So you can only have 1 brain implant or 1 torso implant.

Advanced Shocker Arm

– Inflicts Shocked Status 100% pain on first hit (Downs humans)
– Inflicts Shocked Status 200% pain on second hit (Downs some larger creatures)
– Enemies randomly dying on being downed is due to game mechanics (Requires a mod for 100% success)

Elite Bionics Framework Additions

If Elite Bionics Framework is loaded alongside my own mod a patch will run adding the HP bonus to bionics parts. It is however not required and is simply an optional addition.

Compatibility

This mod will likely run with other bionics mods like EPOE or Rah’s Bionics but it is not recommended. Running multiple large bionics mods will result in duplicate body parts with differing stats. My mods are designed to be run on their own or in conjunction with bionics mods that simply add additional implants.

I’ve added patch support for Elite Bionics Framework. If the mod is loaded alongside my own a patch will run adding the HP bonus to bionics parts. It is however not required and is simply an optional addition.

Recommended Mods

Vanilla Bionics Expansion
THIS MOD IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED
My original mod adds in all the missing bionics and this mod builds upon that. It is however not required for Advanced Bionics Expansion but I would recommend it unless you are planning to use another bionics mod to fill in the missing pieces.

Elite Bionics Framework
THIS MOD IS NOT REQUIRED
This mod can be run alongside my own mod. If my mod finds it enabled a patch will run adding the HP bonus to bionics parts. To my knowledge and from my brief testing it can be installed and uninstalled without issue.

Animal Cybernetics [AnyC]
While A Dog Said is the popular choice for animal bionics. Animal Cybernetics makes bionics a one size fits all. You can install normal human bionics on your animals without crafting, finding or buying separate bionics.

Bionic Icons
Modifies the icons for bionic boxes so you can tell what they contain without clicking on them.

[SYR] Prosthetic Table
All bionics are removed from the machining bench and fabrication bench. Instead they appear on a new prosthetic table.
