Self-sealing Airlocks
[Updated for Banhi’s Automation Innovation Pack]

This mod tweaks airlocks so that they do not let gases, liquids or solids cross their threshold while they are set to ‘Auto’. To let gas, liquids or solids pass through an airlock as per normal, use a dupe or automation to set it to ‘Open’. This mod should apply itself to any airlock-like door (including modded doors)

This mod has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride! I’ve been forced to revert this mod back to an earlier version to try and get around otherwise unavoidable bugs. Consequently, this mod now tweaks airlocks so that they do not let gases, liquids or solids cross their threshold while they are set to ‘Auto’
This design is not what I originally intended, and yes I know it’s horribly overpowered, but its part the limitations I have to work within

If you run into trouble trying to get this mod to run, you can try installing this mod manually using the version I have uploaded to Github. You can find it under ‘ReleasedModsDLLsSelfSealingAirlocks’ on http://github.com/chromiumboy/OxygenNotIncludedMods
Manual installation
– Go to ‘<user>DocumentsKleiOxygenNotIncludedmodsdev’ (create this folder if it does not exist
– Copy the ‘SelfSealingAirlocks’ folder from Github in to the ‘dev’ folder
– Start ONI and enable the mod from the menu as normal (it will be listed as ‘SelfSealingAirlocks’)

Bug reporting
If you encounter a strange issue involving your airlocks during play (e.g., blocks of metal ore appear when an airlock opens next to a vacuum-filled tile) you should first check to see if you are playing with the most recent version of the mod. You can check this by consulting the log file (<user>AppDataLocalLowKleiOxygen Not Included) and searching for the message ‘LOADED – Self-Sealing Airlocks by chromiumboy v2020.03.08’
