Merc: Jolie Pétard
I higly recommend to give the whole bunch of ‘The Other Ones’ a try as a team. Skat, Pina, Igwa, Laboum, Yori and Cutness are designed to fit together pretty well. Here is the collection.
Is she crazy? Maybe. Does she love tattoos and colorful sparkly things? Obviously. Will it blow up? Naturelement! You definitely want this french explosive expert in your team.
Jolie may appear quite cute, but also a bit weird. In order to prevail in the bully dominated gangs of suburban Marseille, it was sometimes necessary to act different, unpredictable and occasionally ruthless. Besides of that, she is also a great lover of French cuisine and especially truffles. After her grandfathers unaliving she kept his old truffle pig lady Clarisse and loves to cuddle her.

Pink Fluffy Unicorns & Glitter Grenade
Every 72 hours one Glitter Grenade is produced, which every merc can handle. Enemies in the explosion core area of the special gas grenade become knocked, choking and blinded by glitter and unicorn dust.
Her stats, perks and items make her the character for everything explosive (and shiny).
Jolie comes fully voiced with over 140 individual voicelines recorded with a voice changer. I tried my best with a kind of a french accent and some quirky phrases fitting to her weird character. I also blended in some french phrases, words and rants in a way, that everyone can still understand it without actually speaking the language.
I heavily edited a generated image to get the artwork for Jolie (Yes, detailing and coloring was done by hand). The applied tattoos are self created vector illustrations or free stock vectors. The Glitter Grenade artwork is an altered image of a tear gas grenade. Perk and status icons are created with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Besides bugfixes (and maybe some minor tweaks recently) the mod is finished. As a member of the merc team ‘The Other Ones’ some campaign stuff is already in the early planning stage, to shed some more light on background stories of the group. But a reliable time schedule can’t be given at that point.
