Zorange’s Mapmode Collection
This mod adds 14 new mapmodes to show you data that already exists in vanilla, but now more accessible than ever before !
These 14 are not an exhaustive list and i am happy to take suggestions on new mapmodes, so as much useful information as possible can be right at your fingertips
Ideally put suggestions in EU5 Modern Day Mod Discord[discord.gg], they can also just be in a comment as well however

- Urbanisation Suitability
A combination of climate, topography, vegetation, river placement and natural harbor suitability, to show you the best places for cities - Population Capacity
Just normal population capacity, but as a mapmode - Pop Cap Percentage
How much of the population capacity is currently filled up, so 50k pops in a place with 100k capacity would be yellow for 50% used up - Population Growth
Just normal population growth, but as a mapmode - Control Times Market Access
A very useful mapmode when building buildings, as both control and market access impact the amount of money you can get, so multiplied together you can easily see locations that are good in both and give you the most money when building in them - Tax Base Per Population
Less strictly useful and more for fun, you can basically see the gdp/capita of locations - Used Building Slots
Shows you how much of the building capacity is used up, so 100 buildings in a place with 110 cap would show up as nearly full with a dark orange color, and you should consider building elsewhere, to keep space for expensive buildings later on like universities or counting houses - Development Growth
Just normal development growth, but as a mapmode - Years Until 100 Development
Shows you how long it would take for a location to reach 100 development. At the start of the game, no location in the world shows up as reaching it by the end of the game, but it greatly accelerates later on - Local Production Efficiency
Flat production efficiency for all buildings in a location - Average Maximum Literacy
Maximum literacy, taking into account that different pops can have different caps and such. This is computationally expensive so this mapmode is a bit laggy to click on - Control Difference
How far above or below the control of a location is from its maximum, with different colors to show you if it’s above and will go down over time, or if it’s below and will go up over time - Province Tax Base
Just all the tax base on a province added together, like the location tax base mapmode - Relative Location Size (debug)
A mapmode of the games location_size value with gradient, which is actually different from the exact pixel sizes on the location size mapmode

● Savegame compatible
● Should work with any mod
