Granada Situation / Granada v3.0
Greetings to all the Sultans and Caliphs of Iberia! This release covers the situation in Granada. Currently, only the unilateral situation for Granada has been developed, and it is still an early version. It is recommended to subscribe to my other mod, the Granada Events Mod, when playing this mod. Since development is not yet complete, the two mods are updated separately (using them without subscribing to both may cause unknown bugs).

**Mod Button Contents:**
* Obtain a Casus Belli
* Seek Ottoman Assistance
* Invite Andalusians to Migrate (used for relocating culture)
* Change Vassal Type to Taifa States Vassal (special vassal form, can normally be annexed at 2.5 speed)
* Request Ottoman Assistance to Broker Peace
* Seize a Small Territory in the Chaos (when Castile is at war, but not with Granada)
* Pay to Sign a Peace Treaty with Neighboring Nations (v1.1 update)
* Pay to Bribe for Submission (v1.1 update, requires Andalusia to be established first; this option gives a chance for a country to become a vassal directly)
* Pay to Bribe for Loyalty (v3.0 update)
**Updates:**
* v1.2: 10 new events; the situation-starting event moved to April 1338
* v1.3: 10 new events; added negative events for Granada to increase challenge; after Rome is established, players can choose whether to change religion to Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, or leave unchanged
* v1.4: 20 new events; mainly fun and art-related events to enrich gameplay
* v2.0: Two Crusades against Andalusia:
* v2.1: Added a setting in the game rules interface to enable Granada Strengthening; recommended to turn on when AI plays Granada, otherwise it may not be able to defeat Castile
* v3.0: Added Umayyad Protestantism and special Umayyad laws; 10 new events added
**Note:** Using this mod without the Granada Mod may cause bugs.
**Future Update Preview:**
The core storyline of the mod centers on the descendants of the Umayyad family appearing in Granada and becoming kings, with the plot designed according to historical relevance.
Additionally, after Iberian unification, two situation paths will be triggered:
1. Establishing independence in the Iberian Peninsula as a Caliphate (just as the later Umayyad dynasty did historically), which will trigger a Muslim religious schism. The new Iberian Muslim Church will lean toward pluralism and openness, which will facilitate colonial expansion (as the famous sociologist Weber notes in *The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism*: the teachings of Protestantism actively encourage economic achievement and are closely linked to the development of capitalism. In other words, Protestantism promotes the development of capitalism).
2. The Conquest Path, guiding the player to defeat Egypt and return to the ancestral homeland.
