Description:

STATUS: Stable

Explosions near/inside buildings now look like they actually mean something. This mod adds reactive particle effects to buildings when nearby explosions occur, dust waves, interior smoke, ash debris, fire, and electronics sparks all triggered dynamically.

Features:
  • Directional dust waves that push outward from the explosion through nearby buildings
  • Interior smoke and dust moving through building rooms
  • Ash/subtle dust effect floating around after the main dust settles
  • building fires that burn inside affected buildings, with optional fire spread
  • Blast fire flash (sometimes w/ debris) at the explosion point, randomly picks from multiple variants
  • Electronics sparks on electronics found inside affected buildings, as well Power Poles and Machines around any blast radius.
  • Works with projectiles, grenades, mines, satchels, and vehicle explosions
  • Class blacklist, exclude any object class (and its subclasses) from all effects via CBA settings
  • All effects are client-local for clean multiplayer performance
  • CBA_A3 Settings to make it fully modular to your needs (incluing lots of Performance options)!

FAQ

Q: Is this Client side?
A: Yes.

Q: Is this Multiplayer compatible?
A: Yes. Effects run client-side and are broadcast to other players via CBA global events.

Q: Does this work with modded weapons and explosives?
A: Yes, as long as the projectile inherits from standard ArmA 3 base classes.

Q: Does this work with visual overhaul mods like BlastCore, etc.?
A: Yes. RBE+ uses its own isolated set of config-defined particle effects that run independently, so it does not conflict with other visual.

Q: Does this work with modded or custom maps?
A: Yes. As long as the custom map’s building assets inherit from standard ArmA 3 base building classes (e.g. House, Building), the effects will trigger on them. This covers virtually all custom terrain out there.

Q:Is this compatible with CDLC‘s?
A: Yes.
