CALL OF THE BEASTFIEND
This mod introduces a completely new gameplay system centred around summoning and challenging daemonic Beastfiends. These powerful units can be recruited as mercenaries through a custom UI-driven feature tied to Chaos Undivided corruption.

New units
Adds 5 new daemonic units inspired by Warhammer Fantasy lore:
Beastfiend Herd
"They are not merely Beastmen of the South, they are Daemons made flesh. Born near the Southern Chaos Gate, these monstrosities are fueled by raw magic rather than blood."
Centifiend
"The Centifiend is a lethal skirmisher that rains down shards of soul-searing crystal from a distance. Driven by Daemonic agility, they haunt the flanks of the enemy, evading retaliation while bleeding their prey dry with warp-infused javelins."
Bullfiend
"While the Minotaurs of the North hunger for flesh, the Bull-fiends of the South hunger for the dissolution of reality. They are not mere beasts of muscle and horn, but Daemonic engines of destruction forged from raw Chaos. When they charge, they do not just shatter shields—they trample the very souls of the weak."
Beastfiend Shaman
"Riding a warp-twisted Chaos Rhinoxen, this Shaman acts as a living conduit for the Southern Chaos Gate’s raw power. It amplifies the Daemonic essence of allies while siphoning the strength and sanity from all who stand in its path."
Great Beastfiend
"The Great Beastfiend is the undisputed apex predator of the Southern Chaos Wastes. Neither purely beast nor purely spirit, it is a ‘Daemon made flesh’—a towering, four-legged titan that stalks the frozen Antarctic hell."Unique recruitment feature
A new custom panel, accessed from the resources bar, allows you to invoke the Call of the Beastfiends in a target region.
※The values required for unlocking may change at any time depending on the patch.
This spawns a temporary Beastfiends Herdstone marker, attracting Beastfiends and other Chaos followers.
Defeating the spawned army rewards you with Beastfiends mercenaries based on the tier you summoned. Stronger Beastfiends are unlocked by spreading Chaos Undivided corruption across the campaign.Challenge of the Beastfiends
Each Beastfiend tier you defeat grants stacking buffs to all Beastfiends units, allowing them to scale into the late game and rewarding continued progression.
Encounter difficulty scales dynamically based on campaign difficulty, turn number, and the Beastfiend tier summoned.New custom Quest BattleAfter proving your strength, you can challenge the greatest of the Beastfiends in a custom quest battle against a full Beastfiend army. Victory grants a unique reward and a large number of Beastfiends units willing to join your forces.
Bugs
To enable ritual targeting, the custom UI will not automatically close the first time you “click off” the panel in order to try and close it, however it will close the 2nd time you do so. It’s recommended if you want to close the panel to use the close button or re-click the button in the resources bar of the main interface.SUB Mods-

Compatibility
With the Godslayer Overhaul mod, the Daemon Prince faction may appear to require Khorne corruption to unlock Great Game rituals. This is a visual issue only and does not affect gameplay.You may have issues with the resources bar panel displaying if running many mods that add additional features to the resources bar UI.
