The New Covenant: Vanilla Enemy Replacement
A mostly vanilla mod that redistributes some of the base game assets and gives the enemies of the game some improved aesthics and gear.
The Nowheraki insurgency’s newfound allies in Neighbouristan and elsewhere have granted them a substantial boost in equipment quality and standardization, and they have now coalesced into a more unified entity, with reinvigorated devotion to their faith, and unwavering belief in the Great Journey to achieve salvation. Expect to see some new gear and optics among their ranks.
The Private Security and Generic Tangos have also received some upgrades and improvements, now with upgraded weaponry, and plate armors/helmets for their most elite units. These hostiles now resemble a well equipped and professional paramilitary force. The Tangos also got new voicelines.
The Militia and Neighbouristan House Guard Corps have also gotten a visual overhaul, with proper body armor and other kit.
SSI has received little change, but expect some slight differences in appearances which will offer more immediate visual identification between their different types. They’ve also got new voicelines.
Allied units have been redesigned and reequipped with improved weapons and gear, greatly improving their abilities in the field alongside your own troopers.
They are also made more capable with doctrine upgrades, and will now engage targets much more aggressively.
To compensate for the fancy looking gear of the New Covenant, the Nowheraki SWAT forces have also received their own share of improvements. Expect improved headgear, night vision, and even armor to be available for the Allied militia, but only after extensive bribes…
This mod, despite heavily altering the visual aesthetics of the enemies, is not actually intended to be much more difficult than vanilla.
The armor that most enemies wear actually doesn’t provide any protection. However, the optics on their guns are real and will slightly improve their stats. Reaction time, suppression resistance, accuracy, etc, will all remain the same for the most part.
This mod makes use of almost entirely vanilla models and other assets. It will conflict with any mod that alters enemy units, but aside from that, there should be no conflicts. However, please report any issues that you find.
