Kelzad origin
Kelzad and his partner Yeelon Mekyr tried to escape from a research complex where they were being developed as super soldiers. During their escape, Kelzad donned the A.T.P. engineer’s mask, which he had taken from one of the employees. Later, Yeelon was revealed to be a rogue Employer named Sokar, leading to a conflict between them.
Kelzad was repeatedly killed throughout the story, but he was revived using various technologies, such as the Nano Improbability Drive. In one of the battles with Yeelon (in his demonic form), Kelzad was mortally wounded, but later returned to life. In another scene, Yeelon created a portal and sent Kelzad to a world with floating masses of earth, but Kelzad was able to return through another portal.
In the finale of one of the arcs, Kelzad faced the true form of Sokar, who declared himself the embodiment of madness.
