Worthy AI Lite
This is a version of the Worthy AI improvements which is more compatible with other mods.
It seeks to improve the AI’s unit mix, economy, and tactics. It does so by extending rather than replacing files, so these strategies and tactics can be used even with completely overhauled factions and units, like the PVP Community Mod.
Why Worthy Lite?
While the full version of the Worthy implements every improvement method I have developed, to do so meant overwriting the main files. This meant Worthy AI could never be compatible with any mod which also wanted to replace the main files.
In the Worthy Lite, I have distilled every improvement which could be achieved without replacing those XML files. Moreover, I developed the Lite version with the intent to be used with mods which might mod tech tiers, production locations, unit costs, etc. Worthy Lite uses a looser grip to catch more star systems.
If you play Ai with a modded version of the Gladius vanilla factions, for example your favorite balance mod, but still want the improved Ai strategy and tactics of the Worthy, the Worthy Lite is best version to use!

What does Worthy Lite change?

1. The Vanilla Factions Ai
Strategic improvements- refined economic decisions, research selection, unit mixes, and faction-action use. This includes vanilla factions which have been modded!
2. The Vanilla Units Ai
Tactical improvements- improved positioning & holds, utility action use, and a limited number of weapon and target selections. This includes Vanilla units which have been modded, in that the Worthy tactics will transfer!
3. Certain Vanilla Weapon Use by any Ai.
There are Worthy Ai behaviors on a very limited set of weapon-actions, like frag grenades, haywires, and so on which are on the weapon, so will carry over to new units Ai if they use the Vanilla weapons.
What doesn’t Worthy Lite change?

1. New factions or units from mods.*
*(Like, mostly. Exceptions for weapon use, as above, and there are some faction-wide tactical traits which affect all units.)
Completely new factions and units, for example from the "Reinforcements" or "Heroes of Legend" series will behave exactly as their developers intended them to.*
2. Most actions and target selection.
This is the largest difference between Worthy Ai and Worthy Lite. To alter Ai’s use of and target selection for actions, like I did for Worthy AI, I had to replace the main files. So, Worthy Lite does not alter the actions or targets (mostly). There are a very few actions which Vanilla AI will never use and in some of those cases I’ve given units copies of the action that Ai will use (Clear Tile, for example, or the Hospitaller heal).
Any known issues?

New-units-from-mods-for-vanilla-factions _might_ be included the Worthy unit mixes. However, they won’t be given any special priority, just the normal amount of priority as set by their developer.
Some units are locked behind Vanilla techs which are considered low-priority by the Worthy Ai. Sadly, it is very likely these units will be completely excluded from the Ai unit-mix. This is an issue for Heroes Of Legend heroes. A consequence of refining the Ai research strategy is that some techs are left out.
