632 ad [Bookmark]

We present to you a new bookmark date: 632. The Prophet has died, Arabia is united but unstable. The Roman and Sassanid empires are exhausted by the last great war. The Franks, under the rule of Dagobert I, are still strong, but within their realm, the influence of nobles, mayors of the palace, and border dukes is already growing. Britain is fragmented, the Caucasus is squeezed between empires, and the steppes and the Danube border remain dangerous.

A reworked map of rulers, titles, cultures, religions, and dynasties.
New playable characters: emperors, kings, prophets, princes, dukes of the Marches, governors, and regional claimants.
New and reworked cultures: Alemanni, Thuringians, Burgundians, Aquitani, Gallo-Romans, Sclaveni, Crimean Goths, Copts, Hephthalites, Kurykans, Ibero-Romans, Balkan Romans, Cappadocian Romans, Mahri, Afro-Romans, Bactrians, Blemmyes, Gokturks, and Himyarites.
A special casus belli for the Arabs.
Historical decisions and development paths for individual rulers and regions.
New struggle system for the Frankish region: “The Struggle for the Merovingian Legacy”.

At the beginning of the game, the Arabs begin their conquests in Iran and Africa. By the end of the century, the Bulgars begin their migration. Khindasvinth begins a rebellion against the Visigoth king (if he doesn’t die of old age).
The world map is truncated to Tibet and Mongolia.
