Tended Wilds
– Saving and quiting while there are pending relocations or wild planting will result in them being placed as blueberry bushes after reloading. Complete the planting/relocations or cancel them before quitting out of the game.
Tended Wilds transforms your Forager’s Shack into a powerhouse of wilderness management. Whether you’re carefully cultivating rare herbs or strategically directing your forager to prioritize exactly what your village needs most, Tended Wilds gives you the tools to tend the wild lands around you with precision and intention.
Move any forageable to a better location using the standard relocate button — herbs, roots, berries, mushrooms, nuts, willows, bird’s nests, thickets, wild bushes, and more. All forageable types are supported, not just blueberries.
Replace the vanilla all-or-nothing priority toggle with a granular 1-9 priority scale. Set berries to 9 and mushrooms to 2 and your forager will act accordingly. Each shack maintains its own independent priority settings, and priorities persist even when you upgrade a shack. Toggle an item off entirely to tell your forager to ignore it completely.
Once upgraded, the Forager’s Shack becomes not just a Garden, but a proper Forager’s Greenhouse — and greenhouses can grow things even outside of season. Cultivated plants now yield two full harvests per year, completing in late spring and again in late fall. A final sweep at the end of winter ensures nothing goes to waste before the new year begins.
(Don’t see a greenhouse? That’s because it’s made of glass. It’s there. Trust the forager.)
The Forager’s Greenhouse doesn’t just cultivate, it propagates. Whatever your forager is currently growing inside, you can plant more of it out in the world. Your forager knows what grows well in the local terrain, laborers do the legwork of establishing new patches based on the greenhouse’s current cultivation. Spend resources to establish new forageable patches near your shack and expand your natural harvest without waiting for random spawns.
The Woodlore tech tree node is reduced from 3 ranks to 2, with each rank granting +3 yield instead of +2. You now reach full Woodlore mastery with 2 knowledge points instead of 3 — making it a much stronger early game investment for foraging-focused villages.
Tended Wilds fully absorbs the functionality of the Forageable Transplantation mod. If you are currently running Forageable Transplantation, remove it before installing Tended Wilds — running both simultaneously will cause conflicts. Tended Wilds will warn you at startup if both are detected.
