Tabletop Caps Scale With Lord’s Level: Blaze Edit
Tabletop caps scale with level!
Originally, there was this mod: Tabletop Caps scale with lord’s level
Then it was updated here (and still works), but….
Here is a rescaled and (imo) more polished version of Boiled’s take. Changes from that version include:
– Baseline cap is reduced by -4 special and -3 rare so that MCT is not required for MP users; currently the cap starts at 6 special and 2 rare (see below for scaling).
– Scaling is done on level multiples of 5, minimum of 2 points at a time
– No duplication to hero skill trees
– Cleaner UI presentation ingame (text, skill nodes)
Scaling is as:
Lvl 05: +2 Special
Lvl 10: +2 Rare
Lvl 15: +2 Special (Net: +4)
Lvl 20: +2 Rare (Net: +4)
Lvl 25: +4 Special (Net: +8)
Lvl 30: +2 Rare (Net: +6)
By default, unit caps start at 6/2 special/rare, and proceed to 14/8 at level 30. MCT can be used to adjust these caps upward or downward by a flat value as in core TTC, but this mod does not support MCT options for scaling etc. Note that as of writing, MCT is not stable for multiplayer, hence this mod baking in the adjustment to help with MP stability.
Supports scaling for lords from the following modpacks (others can be added upon a nice request):
– Alshua’s Ellyrion
– Araby
– Mixu’s LLs
– Radious
– All SCM mods
Minor Incompatibility:
– Mount Expansion (but see discussions, there’s a manual workaround)
This mod also pairs well with Seb’s Leveling Overhaul, which provides 5 skill points every 5 levels instead of 1 each; this way there’s more defined powerspikes, and more obvious times to consider retooling your lord’s armies.
