Why create this mod?

In version 1.2, since vassals under the same overlord share a single cooldown for forced religious/cultural conversion, players can only force-convert one vassal every 10 years. Additionally, version 1.2 dynamically calculates the core status of territories; locations where the primary and accepted culture population falls below 50% will lose their core status. Additionally, in the current version, many subject types are subject to a significant cabinet efficiency penalty. These new updates make expansion extremely slow and unrewarding, ultimately making the game quite boring due to its sluggish pacing.

What specific effects does this mod have?

To address these issues, this mod introduces the following changes:

-Set annex base cost = 75(Vanilla 200)

-Change the truce duration from peace treaties to 3-10 years.

-Removed the population cap for adding/accepting cultures. You can now freely choose to accept or add any culture as compatible, regardless of how small their population is.

-Removed the independent multiplier crown power penalty from subjects’ economic base to address the issue of crown power being too low after version 1.2.

-Integrated Territories Overhaul: Modified the effects of the "Integrated" territory status. It now grants Maximum Control +15%, Monthly Control +0.05%, and Local Separatism +10%. The -10 Local Population Assimilation Speed debuff has been removed. This makes integrated territories function much closer to core territories.

-Change the shared cooldown for "Force Vassal to Convert Religion" and "Force Vassal to Convert Culture" to 0. At the same time, remove the mechanism that requires the overlord to wait ten years after a vassal becomes a subject before using these interactions. (The ten-year cooldown still displays in the game because the individual cooldown for each vassal remains ten years, but the effect of the shared cooldown does take effect.)

-Slightly increases the speed of province integration, area integration, and location natural integration.

– Created a new linear growth for annexation speed. Now every 1000 cultural influence grants you 100% annexation speed, capped at 1000%. This addresses the issue in the new version where PDX capped the annexation speed bonus from population size relative to subjects at 100%.

-removes the country cabinet efficiency penalty for all subject types except the state bank.
Vanilla cabinet efficiency penalties:fiefdom: -50%;dominion: -40%;appanage: -35%;state_bank: -25%;uc_bey: -25%;vassal: -20%;maha_samanta: -20%;pradhana_maha_samanta: -20%;hanseatic_member: -10%;march: -10%;tusi: -10%;samanta: -10%;
Among the above subject types, only the state bank retains its -25% penalty. All other penalties have been removed.

-Vanilla effect: All subject types have -50% global population assimilation speed and -50% global population conversion speed penalties.
This mod’s change: Removes both penalties from all subject types.

-Value Reworks: Following the Roman Empire DLC update, many players were highly dissatisfied with the effects of the Latin and Roman values. I have reworked their effects as follows:
– Latinization: Selling Efficiency +2.50%; Expected Diplomatic Spending -20.00%; Allows Latin Cultural Movement; Heretic Tolerance +2.0; Heathen Tolerance +1.0
– Romanism (Rhomanismos): Stability Investment Cost -20.00%; True Faith Tolerance +5.0; Tax Efficiency +10%; Cultural Capacity +20%

Does this mod disrupt game balance?

– Based on tests conducted by myself and some friends, the effect of this mod is simply to provide positive feedback for both AI nations and players ,which means you will not get bored.

Does this mod affect the AI, or does it only benefit the player?

– Since all effects of this mod are implemented through changes to the core game code, it benefits the AI and the player equally.

Compatibility?

– In principle, this mod is compatible with other mods. However, to be safe, please place it at the top of your Playset if possible.
