Description:

This mod started as a small character customization project for the Árpád dynasty, mainly because I wanted the early Hungarian rulers to have more fitting historical traits instead of random ones. It later grew into a broader Hungarian historical flavor mod.

Main features:

• Reworked many Árpád dynasty characters with more fitting traits, education, nicknames, deaths, marriages, and family connections.

• Expanded and corrected parts of the Árpád family tree, including several missing or inaccurate dynasty members.

• Added the Holy Crown of Hungary as a royal artifact and symbol of Hungarian kingship.

• Improved Hungarian royal title history, including the Mogyer Grand Princes and the early kings of Hungary.

• Corrected several Hungarian and Mogyer ruler names, character names, and local title/name issues.

• Corrected many Hungarian county, duchy, barony, and settlement names.

• Reworked Szörény/Severin into a more fitting Hungarian borderland setup with its own duchy.

• Improved the Mogyer and Hungarian name lists to reduce anachronistic or inaccurate names.

• Added a university slot to Pécs.

This mod is focused mainly on historical flavor, character history, localization, title history, and setup for Hungary and the Árpád dynasty.

A large part of the historical direction was inspired by the Reddit post “The Hungarian community’s gift to the Devs for CK3’s 5th birthday.”

Compatibility:
This mod may conflict with other mods that edit Hungarian character history, title history, localization, name lists, or the Carpathian Basin map setup.
